Random Acts of Kindness does the work for you, presenting you with over three hundred acts of kindness, charities to donate to, and inspirations for good will.
The idea of paying it forward has been around for a long time, but now here is your chance to inspire others to pay it forward. Opening the app presents you with an act of kindness or charity and allows you to shake to get a new one until a specific act really hits home. From donating some clothes to your local Goodwill to simply giving someone a sincere compliment, there are many different levels to the acts of kindness.
Once you find an act you like, you then have the option of posting the act on Twitter to inspire others to act and get involved. Something as small as saying, “You’re welcome,” can have an impact on people around you and make the world a better place.
Aside from the Random Acts there is also an organized database of charities, helping you to find one that really interests you. Divided up by purpose, from helping children to the environment, there are over a hundred charities to choose from. You can also access the charities’ homepage directly from the app to make giving easier than ever.
